It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vance Andrew Mendenhall of Franklinton, North Carolina, born in Franklin, North Carolina, who passed away on December 13, 2022, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Rupert Mendenhall and Esther Wood Mendenhall; his wife Betty Lou Kearney Mendenhall; and his brothers, Bobby and Bud Mendenhall (Judy).
He is survived by: his nephew Brad Kearney; his niece Faith Hudgins; and his sisters-in-law, Donna Mendenhall and Catherine Mendenhall. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
