He is survived by: his children, Thelma Jean Lidye (Louis) of Louisburg, NC, Teresa Russell of Louisburg, NC, Christopher Cannady, David Lynch (Selena) of Louisburg, NC, Ricky Lynch (Portia) of Cary, NC and Thomas Lynch, Jr. (Sharice) of Hollister, NC; his mother Roxie Mae Ward of Franklinton, NC; and his siblings, Priscilla Glover of Franklinton, NC, Darlena Ward of Washington, DC, Helen Ward Mason of Washington, DC, Dale Ward, Sr. (Zena) of Chesapeake, VA, Carlos Ward of New York, NY and Anthony Ward of New York, NY. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
