He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Alfred Ross and Roxie Iola Eakes Ross; his wife Patricia A. Ross; and his brothers, James Ross and Earl Ross.
He is survived by: his children, Angela M. Riley (Kevin) of Wake Forest and Anthony "Andy" M. Ross (Janet) of Wake Forest; and his sister Janie Meier of Franklinton. He is also survived by four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
