He was predeceased by: his parents, William Miksa and Olga Miksa; and his sister Joyce Miksa. He is survived by: his wife Carol; his children, Brian Miksa (Beth) and Kelly Slaybaugh (Mark); his grandchildren, Matthew (Ava) and Kristin; and his siblings, JoAnne Pironis (Uldis), Janette Kaufman (Andy), Jean Parsons (Mel), Bill Miksa (Connie), Jeff and Holly Bruck.

A memorial service was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Hope Lutheran Church (3525 Rogers Rd, Wake Forest, NC 27587).

In lieu of flowers, any memorial contributions may be made to Hope Lutheran Church.
