She was predeceased by: her husband William Thurman Jefferson, Jr. (Bill); her mother Rita Ryan Conkle; and her sister Anne Conkle. She is survived by: her children, Bill, Carey Jean Jefferson (Stephen Brooks) of Chapel Hill, NC, Cynthia Jefferson Glad (Jason) of Lakeville, MN, Kimberly Sue Lehrfeld (Jeffrey) of Fulton, MD, Catherine Jefferson Littleton (Michael) of Franklinton, NC and Steven Ryan Jefferson (Kayla Biese) of Raleigh, NC; and her grandchildren, Madeline, Daniel, Tyler, Owen, Macey, Cassidy, Josh, Billy and Ryan. She is also survived by her six siblings, and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
