He was predeceased by: his father Francis Gerald "Jerry" Blackwell Jr.. He is survived by: his mother Martha Lewis (Marcel Comtois) of Wake Forest; his siblings, Ben Blackwell (Jen) of Raleigh, Cale Lewis (Christy) of Wilmington, Tommy Lewis II and North; and his stepmother Deborah Blackwell of Lewisburg, KY.. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family, and the countless friends.

Visitation was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Faith Harvest Church (4737 Willeva Dr, Wake Forest, NC 27587). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
