He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Hock and Annie Laura Hock; his brother Roy Hock; his stepdaughter Linda Waiden; and his grandson Bobby Gagnon.
He is survived by: his wife Alice; his stepchildren, Janice Peoples, Pam Wood and Ricky Wood (Garlene) of Spring Hope; his son Todd Hock; and his siblings, Conrad Hock of Kittrell, Earl Hock of Albemarle and Rose Tart of Kittrell. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
