She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Pearce and Florence Davis Spearman. She is survived by: her son Fred D. Jr.; her daughter-in-law Hope Coats; her daughter Karen D. Coats of Franklinton; her grandsons, Eric Coats, Kevin Coats (Sonya) and Nicholas Edwards (Christy); and her great grandchildren, Jacob Coats, Kameron Coats and Parker Coats. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
