With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Louise King of Franklinton, North Carolina, born in Durham, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 11, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, J. Y. Blackley and Hattie King Blackley; her husband Curtis F. King; and her brothers, Bruce Blackley and Grady Blackley.
She is survived by: her daughters, Rebecca Cantaffa (Tom) and Alice Kowalske (Bryan); her grandchildren, Michelle Marcengill (Timothy), Michael Kowalske, Abriana Cantaffa and Zachary Cantaffa (Rachel); her great grandchildren, Camden Marcengill, Aidan Cantaffa, Aubrielle Cantaffa and Bentley Cantaffa; and her brother Billy Blackley. She is also survived by several nephews and other extended family.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mt. Olivet Baptist Church at 1245 Mt. Olivet Church Rd., Franklinton, NC 27525.
