She is survived by: her children, Nick Nance (Gretta) of Wake Forest and Christy Nance (Matthew Meschino) of Austin, TX; her mother Joan Tessier Jackson; her grandchildren, Ty Handley, Addison Nance, Van Handley, Tenley Nance and Cooper Simmons; and her sisters, Janet Yates of Zebulon and Judy Weller (Mike) of Raleigh. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
