She is survived by: her children, Anthony Young of Greensboro, Walter Andrew Young of Raleigh and Letha Annette Young of Raleigh; her grandchildren, William Douglas Young, Jr., NyKeshia James, Delmore Montel Robinson and Nazir Young; her great grandchildren, Malachi Douglas Young, Jeremiah William Young, Delmore Robinson, Jr. and Sincere Robinson; her brother Reverend Walter Yarbrough (Mary) of Franklinton; and her siblings-in-law, Maxine Robinson of New Rochele, Mary Louise Young of Franklinton and Harold C. Young of Hyattsville, Maryland. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the First United Church of Christ (20 W Green St, Franklinton, NC 27525). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at the Fairview Cemetery.
