He was predeceased by: his parent Rufus "Joe" Laws; and his siblings, Hilda Bacon and Robert Laws. He is survived by: his wife Janice Laws of Franklinton; his siblings, Evelyn Berry (Mitchell) and E. R. Laws; his daughter Eva Turner (Tommy); his grandchildren, Kaylee Laws, Megan McAdams and Kevin Laws (Stephanie); his great grandchildren, Rudy Laws, Danny and Aaron; his stepchildren, Lisa Clark (Terry), John Thompson and Jason Thompson; and his grandchildren, Megan Howerton, Michael Pickett, Lauren Thompson, Haleigh Thompson and Zachary Thompson.
