He was predeceased by: his parents, William Everette and Alice Godfrey Goodwin; and his siblings, Herbert Goodwin, Dollie Mae Murray, Eddie Lee Goodwin, Frank Goodwin and Lucille Ray.
He is survived by: his daughter Angela Branch; his siblings, Douglas "Whit" Goodwin and Marie Hodge; and his nieces and nephews, Johnnie Goodwin (Shelby), Eddie Goodwin (Jean), Murray, April Mullen, Rose Ray and Laura Ray.
