He was predeceased by: his parents, John J. Hommey and Hannah Ellen Walters Hommey; and his brothers, John Hommey, Jim Hommey and Jan Hommey.
He is survived by: his children, Dawn M. Hommey (Randall), Jerry J. Hommey (Desiree) and Thomas L. Hommey (Carissa); and his siblings, Florence Trotta, Gene Hommey (Cynthia) and Bill Hommey (Vickie). He is also survived by ten grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren.
