He was predeceased by: his father James Albert Ross Sr.; and his children, Robert Charles Ross and Jennifer Lynn Ross. He is survived by: his daughters, Chandra Cook of Albuquerque and Ella Watkins of Bunn; his sisters, Rachel Layton of Franklinton, Rose Engelhardt (Jeff) of Bunnell, Barbara Phillips of Garland and Ann O'Neal (Mickey) of Youngsville; and his grandchildren, Cody Ryan, Jesse Ryan, Matthew Sykes and Alyssa Sykes. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and friends.
