She is survived by: her husband William Burt; her sons, Dwayne Burt of Fredericksburg, VA, William Burt, Jr. (Roslyn) of Harrisburg, PA, Eric Burt of Fredericksburg, VA, Fontaine Burt (Belinda) of McCleansville, NC and John Burt (Jody) of Saddle River, NJ; and her siblings, Hilda Elizabeth Johnson (Robert) of Newark, NJ, Beatrice Richardson (Celister) of Henderson, NC, James Arthur Hicks (Esther) of Virginia Beach, VA, Isaac Wilson Hicks (Edna) of Teaneck, NJ and Terry Hicks of Teaneck, NJ. She is also survived by eighteen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
