With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Hardy Smith of Franklinton, North Carolina, who passed away on August 4, 2020 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Cicero and Selma Abbott Smith; his wife Addie Mae Murray Smith; and his brothers, Bobby and Floyd Smith.
He is survived by: his children, Wendy Denton (Wes), Kathy Smith and Rodney Smith; his grandchildren, Jesse Denton, Kalyn Arbuckle, Tori Turner, Jordan Turner and Isaiah Silver; and his siblings, Carroll Smith (Andy) and Becky Faulkner (Fred). He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
