It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gordon Appleford (Franklinton, North Carolina), who passed away on March 25, 2020, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Glenn Appleford and Thelma Hickox Appleford; his wife Nancy Harris Appleford; his son Gary Lee Appleford; and his close friend Deydra Bragg.

He is survived by: his daughter Deborah Lynn Collins; his grandchildren, Kelsey Collins, Johnathan Collins (Amber), Gregory Appleford (Victoria) and Geoffrey Appleford (Amy); and his siblings, Don Appleford (Elaine) and Catherine Appleford. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
