Glathy Bullard Obituary
We are sad to announce that on September 22, 2020, at the age of 83, Glathy Bullard (Franklinton, North Carolina), born in Franklin, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel L. Wester and Rebecca Moye Wester; her siblings, Simon Rogers, Jr., Nellie V. "Mildred" Coppedge, Daphine C. Hill (Haywood) and Pattie W. Watson (James); and her nephew Lewis Hill.
She is survived by: her daughters, Rebecca G. Mitchell of Henderson and Tammy L. Newsome of Louisburg; her sister Mary W. O'Neal (Royster) of Wake Forest; her nephew Mark L. Watson of Durham; and her grandchildren, Isaih Mitchell and Dajah Mitchell of Henderson. She is also survived by her two children and to her parents, brother and sisters.
Due to Covid 19 a private graveside service will be held at 3 o'clock on Thursday afternoon September 24, 2020 in the Rogers Family Cemetery on Rogers Road in Franklin County on the family farm to lay beside her mother.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Glathy's name to Woodland Baptist Church, 190 Woodland Church Road, Wake Forest, NC 27587.
