With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorothy Nina Hood of Franklinton, North Carolina, born in Port Jervis, New York, who passed away on April 10, 2023 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Foster Conklin and Cordelia Conklin; her husband Charles Hood; her son James Foster; and her siblings, Ray Conklin, Carl Conklin, Robert Conklin, Eugene Conklin and Helene Hayes.
She is survived by: her children, Mike Hood (Kim) of Nashville, TN, Brian Hood (Jennifer) of Franklinton, NC and Mary Goode (Jason) of Fayetteville, NC; her grandchildren, Justin Foster, Jordan Foster (Chelsea), Foster Hood, Dana Hood Mills (Dylan), Rebecca Hood, Rylee Foster and Kaylee Foster; her great grandchildren, Kayzyn Hood, Kyzlie Hood and Liam Mills; her siblings, Jerry Conklin, Lucille Millspaugh and Karon Johnson; and her sister-in-law Cartha Conklin. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
