He was predeceased by: his parents, William Slaughter and Marie Hancock. He is survived by: his wife Ellen Slaughter of Franklinton, NC; his children, Donell McEwan (Michael) of Bluemont, VA and Daniel Slaughter (Sandra) of Sterling, VA; and his grandchildren, Sage, Quinten, Logan, Sydney, Reed, Charlie and Cadence.
