He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Lee Watkins and Allie Thomas Newton Watkins; his nephews, Craig Watkins, Eddie Watkins and Kevin Newcomb; and also Thomas Edward Watkins.
He is survived by: his wife Jean W Watkins; his sister Linda Newcomb; and his caregivers, Emma F Perry, Martha Overby, Rhonda Schwarze and Ruby Hesler.
