He was predeceased by: his father Wymer Deweese; his sister Thelma Hodgins; his granddaughter Sarah Deweese; and his great grandchild River Bowling. He is survived by: his wife Ruby Nell Deweese; and his children, Kathy Murphy Nix (Robert) of Six Mile, SC, Becky McGaha of Franklin, NC and Randy Deweese (Stephanie) of Six Mile, SC. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and 5 great-great grandchildren.
