He was predeceased by: his parents, John Shelton and Grace Moore Shelton; his son Charles Patrick Shelton; and his sister Nell Shelton. He is survived by: his children, Sabrina Darby and Shawn Shelton; his grandchildren, Tyler Shelton, Kyle Shelton (Callie), Ansley Shelton, Peyton Shelton and Tristan Shelton; and his great grandchildren, Lane Shelton and Charlotte Shelton.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Macon Funeral Home (261 Iotla St, Franklin, NC 28734). A celebration of life was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
