As Von departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Von. Though Von may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Franklin Edward Turner and Ora Lee York Turner; his wife Glenda Eidson Turner; his children, Jennifer Turner Eshleman (Brian) of Winston-Salem and John Turner (Jessica) of The Colony, Texas; his granddaughter Sydel of The Colony, Texas; his sister Bonnie Grigsby (Bobby) of Mocksville; and his pets, Benji and Bella.
A celebration of life was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Jericho Church of Christ (124 Davie Academy Rd, Mocksville, NC 27028).
