Though Virgie may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Virgie touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George McMahan and Zilla Buchanan McMahan; and her siblings, Georgie McMahan Austin and Benny McMahan. She is survived by: her husband Leonard Guyer; and her siblings, Janice Lyerly of Franklin, NC and Ted McMahan of Clinton, TN. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and great nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Bryant-Grant Funeral Home (105 W Main St, Franklin, NC 28734). A graveside service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Iotla Baptist Church (1537 Iotla Church Rd, Franklin, NC 28734).
