He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank P. Warden and Gertrude Callaway Warden; his stepdaughter Sharon Raikes; and his siblings, Erskine Warden and Mary Frances Fitzgerald.

He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Ann Hudson Warden; and his grandchildren, Jessie Raikes and Brian Raikes. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
