He was predeceased by: his parents, Abraham Erdman and Bessie Erdman; his brother Alfred Arnold; and his son Chris Erdman. He is survived by: his wife Deborah Erdman; his brothers, Scott Erdman (Linda) of Moore, SC, Randy Erdman (Dorothy) of Grand Haven, MI and Wes Erdman (Ann Marie) of Bradenton, Florida; and his children, Stevie Erdman, Kelly Erdman, Jeff Erdman, Kyleen Erdman and Lindsey Erdman.
