She was predeceased by: her father Bruce Overholt; and her brothers, Edward Overholt and James Overholt. She is survived by: her husband Deane Lauffer; and her children, Deane Edward Lauffer (Teresa) of Jonesboro, TN, Michael Lauffer (Peyton) of Felton, PA, David Lauffer (Sharon) of Otto, NC, Daniel Lauffer (Donna) of Turnerville, GA and Lisa Elliott of Hebron, KY.. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
