With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ronald Allen Smith (Franklin, North Carolina), born in Darlington, South Carolina, who passed away on June 30, 2024 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Ronald may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Ronald touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Emory Smith and Agnes Lloyd Smith. He is survived by: his significant other Kathy Hook of Franklin; and his siblings, Jim Smith (Rhett) of Florence, Wayne Smith of Myrtle Beach and Kay Campbell (Dean) of Johnston.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Kathy to assist with medical and final expenses.
