He was predeceased by: his wife Bonnie Sue Hoppe (Barrick); his parents, Herman Julius Hoppe and Irene Goldie Lewis; and his siblings, Wilbert Roland Hoppe (Bill), Herman Lewis Hoppe (Bud) and Dorothy Irene Bumbalough (Dot).
He is survived by: his significant other Peggy Milton; his daughter Linda Sue Hoppe Maxwell (Bobby) of Franklin, NC; his grandchildren, Nina Jamieson, Kaitlin Sara, Robert Charles and Victoria Christine; his daughter Laura Hoppe Omohundro (George) of Alexandria, VA; his grandchildren, Calvin Charlton and Cara Marie; his great grandchild Katherine Milton Gutierrez (Jorge); his grandchild Karissa Milton McLaughlin (Dan); his brother Thomas Jay Hoppe; and his siblings-in-law, Martyne Hoppe and Glen Bumbalough. He is also survived by 5 great grandchildren and 27 nieces and nephews.
