He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Carl Donaldson and Daphne Duvall Simmonds. He is survived by: his sons, Christopher Donaldson of Lyman, SC and Justin Donaldson of Atlanta, GA; his grandsons, Boden and Nolan; and his brother Gary Donaldson of Raleigh, NC. He is also survived by three nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Macon Funeral Home (261 Iotla St, Franklin, NC 28734). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to the Iotla Baptist Church cemetery fund at 1537 Iotla Church Road, Franklin, NC.
