He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Waldroop Cabe; his children, Marie Cabe Johnson (Tommy) of Rockwell, NC and Marty Cabe (Karlene) of Franklin, NC; his grandchildren, Nicholas Johnson, Logan Johnson, Jeremy Cabe, Kristen Cabe, April Woodall and Autumn Fury; his great grandchildren, Ryan Johnson, Race Johnson, Parker Cabe, Brennan Cabe, Madison Spates, Payton Manos and Aulora Manos; and his sister Jeanette Holland of Franklin, NC..
