She is survived by: her son Robert George Reid (Debbie); her grandsons, Trevor and Evan Reid of Andrews, NC; and her siblings, David Paul Childers of Lake City, Florida, Barbara Childers Simmons of Houston and Kathryn Childers Teem of Waynesville, NC. She is also survived by many loving nephews and nieces.
