He was predeceased by: his parents, John Edward Wheeler and Evelyn Celeste Brocco Wheeler; and his brother Jack Wheeler. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Porter Wheeler of Franklin, NC; his children, Eron Lindsey (Kristine) of Kennesaw, Eric Lindsey (Leryda) of Peacham, VT, Amy Williams (John) of Canton, GA, Brooke Reale (Rob) of Franklin, NC, Zach Wheeler of Omaha, NE, Micheal Wheeler of Franklin, NC and Rose Mary Wheeler of Franklin, NC; and his brother Scott Wheeler of Franklin, NC. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and one great grandchild.
