Madge Sala Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Madge Sala (Franklin, North Carolina), who passed away on December 3, 2024 at the age of 82. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Madge Sala to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Sontag and Nellie Virginia Wolff Sontag; and her sons, Raymond Floyd Thompson and Timothy Scot Thompson. She is survived by: her husband John Sala; her children, Kelley Sontag Bates (Ricky Dale) and Michael Bruce Thompson; her grandchildren, Violet Elliott (Jairo), Jana Thompson (Kyle), Kelsie Elliott (Rocky Franks), Nicky Manos (Brittany), Scott Elliott (Sandra), Coben Eli Thompson, Kimberly Stewart (Tyler) and Ricky Bates (Chelsie); her great grandchildren, Alma Rubio (Tristan), Enrique Garcia (Gillian), Luis Hernandez, Christopher Jones, Lynleigh Jones, Derrick Franks, Terrell Franks, Thorn Elliott, Fenris, Payton, Aulora Manos, Ryan Lamb, Brayden, Kaymen, Raelynn Stewart and Chestney Bates; her siblings, Carl Bruce Sontag (Janice) and Joanne Ulsh; her nieces and nephews, Kenneth Sontag, Stevie Ulsh and Carla Ulsh; and her pets, Sugar, Rosebud and Spooky. She is also survived by children to her cherished great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Sunday, December 8th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Macon Funeral Home (261 Iotla St, Franklin, NC 28734).
