We bid farewell to Lorena (Dalton) Shuler of Franklin, North Carolina, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 4, 2025 at the age of 92. Lorena touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Pratt Dalton and Zella Hurst Dalton; her husband Perry Shuler; her son Douglas Keith Shuler; and her siblings, Harold Dalton, Kenneth Dalton, Walter Dalton and Nancy Louise Ledford.
She is survived by: her children, Janet Bradley (Donald) of Madison, GA, Yvonne Barnwell of Hendersonville, NC, Sandy Guinn and Susan Shuler of Franklin; and her grandchildren, Chad Shuler, Derik Shuler, Dalton Shuler, Heather Jackson, Hannah Bradley, Tiffany Barnwell, Brittany Barnwell, Shuler Guinn, Lera Guinn and Courtney Shuler. She is also survived by caregiver; eleven great-grandchildren; one great great grandchild, and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery (1421 Ned Hill Rd, Franklin, NC 28734).
In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery Fund.
