It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Josephine Roper of Franklin, North Carolina, born in Macon, North Carolina, who passed away on November 11, 2022, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Robert Ray; her husband George W. Roper; and her siblings, Myrtle Baker, Christine Dale Ray, R. L. Ray, Paul Ray, Ralph Ray and George Ray.
She is survived by: her close friend Vicki Allen. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
