He is survived by: his wife Ruth Ann; his son Robert McDonald (Shawna); his daughter-in-law Tori McDonald; his stepchildren, Ashley Sweet, Jamie Moore (Carnell) and Stuart Miller (Stephanie); his brother Robert "Butch" McDonald (Karen); his brother-in-law Raymond Mehaffey (Ann); his grandchildren, Kenny, Kelsey, Kaylynn, Ayla, Raygan, Cross, Brilee, Tanner, Ian and Owen; and his great grandchildren, MacKenzie, Jemma, Elijah, Brayden and Ava.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Brotherhood of Cowee Baptist Church.
