He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnny Lee and Cleta Smith Tippett; his daughter Lea Ann Tippett; and his brother Mack Tippett. He is survived by: his wife Linda Rickman Tippett; his children, Ramona Hill of Hallsville, TX and Greg Tippett (Kelly) of Hendersonville, NC; his brother Eddie Tippett of Franklin, NC.; his grandchildren, Melisa Mathews (Robin), Granger Abbott (Sara), Scott Tippett and Sarah Tippett; and his niece Alicia Tippett (Teta). He is also survived by several other nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Iotla Baptist Church cemetery fund.
