He is survived by: his wife Bobbie Franklin; his children, Judy Lightner (Richard) of Franklin and Jack L Dillard (Diane) of Franklin; his siblings, Sandy Deitz of Sylva, NC, Elaine Morgan of Sylva, NC, Cereeta Buchanan of Sylva, NC, Patsy Stevens of Sylva, NC, Ricky and Gary Dillard of Sylva, NC; his grandchildren, Danielle Lightner Winslow, David Lightner, Olivia Brooks, Alex Dillard, Caroline McCall and Clark Dillard; and his great grandchildren, Dominik, Victoria, Jacob, Grady, Henry, Hattie, Tillie and Ava.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Cowee Baptist Cemetery Fund.
