He was predeceased by: his father Tom Bennett; and his wife Margaret Sorrells Bennett. He is survived by: his daughter Lynn Autry (Rodney Autry) of Gloucester, VA; his grandchildren, Jonathan Autry (Rebecca), Joshua Autry (Jennifer), Jeremiah Autry, Joseph Autry and Jessica Byrnside (Anthony); and his great grandchildren, Elijah Autry, Josiah Autry, Naomi Autry, Savannah Byrnside and Luke Byrnside.
