Eddis Jean Stamey Obituary
We are sad to announce that on June 29, 2022, Eddis Jean Stamey of Franklin, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harley Morrison and Minnie Potts Morrison; her husband Nelson "Gene" Stamey; her stepsister Lucille Morrison; her son-in-law Mickey Tallent; and her stepbrother Wheeler Morrison.
She is survived by: her children, Morris Stamey (Becky) of Franklin, Teresa Tallent of Franklin and Missy Stamey Moss (Ketron) of Hiwassee, GA; and her sister Dixie Shook (Furman) of Franklin. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, five great great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to Four Seasons Hospice.
