He is survived by: his wife Michele Smiley; his mother-in-law Joyce Wood; his siblings-in-law, Michael Wood, Jr. and Michelle Wood; his niece Nicole Wood; and his nephew Zachary Wood.
Because of Dale's love for animals, memorials may be directed to Appalachian Animal Rescue Center.
