It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Clinton Ledford of Franklin, North Carolina, who passed away on November 8, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Ledford and Dora Ledford; his siblings, Lee, Hershel, Howard, Crawford, John, Bob, Jack, Fred Jr., Ruth Mahota, Mary Margaret, Eva Jane Ledford, Annie Triplett, Elda Womack, Virginia Mason and Betty Clontz; and his grandson Edward Alan Ledford.
He is survived by: his wife Louise Monteith Ledford; his sons, Eddie (Teri) and Bruce; his grandchildren, Alicia, Cherish and Claire; his great grandchildren, Jada, Kingston, River, Irieland and Carter; his children, Alicia, Dallas and Abbie Peterman; and his sister-in-law Grace "Aileen" Mashburn. He is also survived by many other family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Macon Funeral Home (261 Iotla St, Franklin, NC 28734). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
