He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Sr. Rogers and Lala Margaret Garren Rogers; his sister Judy Rogers Waldroop; and his siblings-in-law, Jim Clemmer and Wanda Dalrymple.
He is survived by: his wife Geneta "Hoppy" Hopkins Rogers; his children, Tres Rogers and Cory Rogers; his siblings-in-law, Clifford Waldroop, Mary "Ernie" Clemmer, Steve Hopkins (Patsy), Troy Dalrymple and Carolyn Shope (Wade); and his grandchildren, Preston Rogers (Caroline), Hunter Rogers, Brooklyn Rogers, Bryce Rogers, Alexander Rogers and Storie Ann Rogers.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and at 4:00 PM at the Macon Funeral Home (261 Iotla St, Franklin, NC 28734). A memorial service was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Cartoogechaye Baptist Church (465 W Old Murphy Rd, Franklin, NC 28734).
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Cartoogechaye Baptist Church Quilt Ministry.
