He was predeceased by: his parents, C. L. Cody and Amy Sue Ledford Cody; his brother Tony; and his former wife Alicia Cabe Cody. He is survived by: his wife Tami Cody; his sons, Braden Cody and Cameron Cody; his stepchildren, Kaitlyn Shepard, Timothy Stevens and Cassie McMahan; and his sister Donna Sue Bryson (Mike). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Black Mountain Baptist Church.
