She was predeceased by: her husband Kenneth Dalton; her brother Billy Shope; and her parents, Prioleau "Prelo" Shope and Queen Shope. She is survived by: her siblings, Don Shope (Cleta), Bobby Shope (Kate), Thelma Cochran (Jimmy) and Wayne Shope (Judy); her grandchildren, Jessica Jenkins, Trevor Dalton (Katie) and Tyler Dalton; her son Dallas; her grandchildren, Lauren Dalton and Haley Allen; and also Terry Dalton (Wendy).
A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 11th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Prentiss Baptist Church (1476 Belle Dowdle Rd, Franklin, NC 28734).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Prentiss Baptist Cemetery Fund (1220 Belle Dowdle Rd, Franklin, NC 28734).
