He is survived by: his sister Linda Higdon (Bill) of Franklin; his daughter Megan Riester (Cliff) of Waynesville; his grandchildren, Ben Roberts, Max Riester and Anna Riester; and his cousins, Wade "Worm" McConnell (Dola), Carolyn Bateman and Gerald "Dee" McConnell (Susie).
