She was predeceased by: her parents, John Burley and Stella Mae Biggs; and her former husband Earl Stanley Govert. She is survived by: her husband Richard Young; her children, Tamatha Camm (John), Jenny Govert, Monee Klingler (Daniel), Earl John Govert (Heather) and Ben Young (Sadie); her grandchildren, Seth Gunnells (Avary), Addison Klingler, Earl Travis, Maggie, David and Isabelle Govert; her cousins, JoAlyce Hawkins and Nancy Whitted; and her siblings, Mark Govert (Tyann), James Govert (Sherri Platt), Mona Rhoda (Kevin), Cindee Potesta, Sr. (Ralph) and Gloria Jean Dornsife (Peter). She is also survived by two stepchildren, and six grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Mowell Funeral Home (200 Robinson Rd, Peachtree City, GA 30269). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, Barb asked that we remember the Wounded Warrior Project and the ASPCA.
